Welcome to Encycleopedia.com's bike reviews. It's been quite a while since we published the last edition of Encycleopedia, the magazine. In the meantime we thought we'd moonlight as product testers.
The reviews published here will not necessarily be published in the forthcoming magazine - though some may be. These reviews are intended for our website only.
So let's get started. The first product to get The Treatment is the Café, a medium wheelbase (or compact long-wheelbase for you old-schoolers) recumbent bike, manufactured by Bacchetta out of St. Petersburgh, Florida, USA.
Now in its thirteenth year, Encycleopedia continues to celebrate specialist and interesting products from around the world, and bike culture in general, bringing them together in an attractive, colourful, coffee-table book style of presentation. Although way behind the original schedule the next edition, Encycleopedia VIII, is in the final stages of production, and we will post the new release date as soon as this is announced.

Please note that any published price information is merely a guide towards the likely cost of the product in the country of origin. The same product could cost half as much again in another country. For-up-to date pricing information, we recommend always checking directly with the manufacturers or their agents. Many of the product features on this website were first published in an edition of Encycleopedia which is now relatively out of date and it is extremely unlikely that specific details remain accurate. We continue to list these products purely as an archive reference, and we have therefore attempted to delete all references to their prices and contact details. We suggest you use your internet search engine should you wish to pursue more information about them.
