ABC 15 will wow Valley children as they learn about the weather with WOW – Weather on Wheels, a 24-foot mobile motion simulator that lets kids experience the weather first-hand, from lightning to rain and even earthquakes. Chief Meteorologist Bill Bellis and the rest of the ABC 15 Weather Team, including morning weathercaster Kaley O’Kelley and weekend weathercaster Kaj Goldberg will bring WOW to schools all across the Valley. "This is so much more than a weather field trip," said Meteorologist Bill Bellis. "This is a way for kids to touch, feel and experience the weather." In addition to an interactive video that kids watch in the mobile theatre, there are six weather pods where kids can see tornados and lighting form right before their eyes. They’ll also learn about how weathercasters gather and track weather information.
