Academies for Peace

Kids Can Free the Children believes that leadership development is the key to achieving a generation of committed and socially active youth. Academies for Peace offer an innovative curriculum highlighting the issues of children and armed conflict to train youth leaders as advocates. Academies include youth participants from peaceful regions as well as from conflict and post-conflict regions, creating partnerships and understanding among youth of the world. Academies for Peace also teach young people how to use media as an effective tool in order to bring attention and action to the issue of war-affected children.
