THE ORDINARY MANAGING COMMITTEE 1825:
The Following is taken from The Rules and Regulations of The Lonach Highland and Friendly Society, Printed in Aberdeen by D. Chalmers and Co, 24 Adelphi Court, 1825

Rule XIV. That, for managing, the ordinary business of the Society, there shall be chosen annually, at a General Meeting, (viz. on the _____) an Ordinary President, Ordinary Vice-Presidents, Treasurer, and six Counsellors: who shall form a Committee for superintending the receipt and expenditure of the money belonging to the Society; for having the books containing the accounts there-of fitted and balanced at the end of every year; and for causing a clear state of the funds to be made up and laid before the Auditors (vide Rule XV) for examination, a sufficient time befeore the Annual General meeting. |
