Dennis D. Grams

Biography
[EPA Office of Brownfields Cleanup and Redevelopment]

Dennis Grams was appointed new Regional Administrator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 7, on January 31, 1994. Mr. Grams is a licensed professional engineer and has 21 years of professional experience in environmental engineering and management. Prior to joining EPA, Mr. Grams was president of his own consulting firm, Grams Environmental Management, Inc., assisting business and industry in evaluation and resolution of environmental concerns. Mr. Grams was director of the Nebraska Department of Environmental Control from 1984 to 1991, and was responsible for development, implementation and administration of Nebraska's environmental programs. From 1978 to 1984, he was director of the Environmental Health Division of the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department in Lincoln, Nebraska. He had also served the environmental health division in other capacities, including assistant director of the division.
