RadWorks™ 5.1 Standard The GE RadWorks 5.1 Standard is designed as a basic front- end in larger PACS or image distribution networks. Built on the premier Windows NT™ platform, the GE RadWorks 5.1 Standard facilitates passive viewing functionality with standard teleradiology send and receive capabilities and standard NT print functionality. Thanks to fast networking and the use of Windows NT™, the GE RadWorks 5.1 Standard can be easily integrated with Hospital Information Systems. Traffic of images and reports can be significantly improved compared to traditional film usage, resulting in time savings, cost reduction and patient care improvement.


Immediate Access to Key Images
GE RadWorks 5.1 Standard is an ideal solution for departments needing immediate access to images, such as busy emergency rooms, ICU, CCU or other critical care units. Clinicians from all areas can view images simultaneously, instead of waiting for the film to arrive.


Remote Viewing for Modalities
GE RadWorks 5.1 has one of the most comprehensive DICOM interfaces and can connect to virtually all DICOM compliant devices. The GE RadWorks 5.1 Standard can be used in a variety of situations such as review stations for referring physicians, on-call teleradiology stations or gateway and data acquisition stations. GE RadWorks Standard supports single and (optional) dual monitors.

GE RadWorks features an easy to learn, intuitive user interface. Designed to be operated by multiple users, GE RadWorks is easily used by radiologists, clinicians, radiographers, nurses and other healthcare professionals around the globe.
