The Scoop
Fans play P.O.D. in Xbox Live game; Stapp says "someone" stole sex tape; CeCe seeks great worship songs; Delirious plans U.S. Tour; and more.

On March 3, fans had an opportunity to butt heads with P.O.D.'s Sonny Sandoval and Wuv Bernardo in a session of Tony Hawk's American Wasteland as part of Xbox Live's "Game with Fame" program. Following signup, fans were entered into a drawing for a chance to play the musicians and chat with them, while friends of the band followed the action in person at Wuv's skateshop, The Orphanage in Chula Vista, Calif. Xbox Live gives subscribers the unique opportunity to meet, chat and play against some of today's hottest stars.

Former Creed frontman Scott Stapp told AP Radio that "someone" stole a videotape from him that depicted Stapp and fellow rocker Kid Rock having sex with four female fans in 1999. Rock, who is fighting the release of the tape in court, called Stapp an irresponsible "idiot" who should have guarded the tape more closely. Stapp said that whoever stole the tape "wants to hurt me and doesn't want me to be successful in my solo career." Stapp called the tape one of his "rock 'n' roll memories" that he should have "burned." "You don't want to say it's laughable, but it's just like, my God, there's so much stuff," he said. "Somebody does not like you and somebody wants you to fail."

CeCe Winans and her Puresprings Gospel label are accepting song submissions from worship leaders across the nation for a future album titled CeCe Winans Presents: The Worship Leader, which will showcase the most powerful original worship songs sweeping churches across America.

Delirious, Britain's pioneering worship/rock band, begins a U.S. tour on March 23 to support its latest album, The Mission Bell. Fifteen dates are scheduled initially from California to Virginia, including a Luis Palau festival in Orlando on April 2, plus a string of shows with fellow international worship rockers Tree63 starting on April 4. Delirious is also slated to play New York City's Nokia Theater on May 14 alongside Jeremy Camp, and will be back in the U.S. this summer to hit the music festival circuit.

The ninth Passion project, Everything Glorious, will release on April 4. Recorded live in January at Passion 06 in Nashvill, the album once again brings together the talents of Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, Charlie Hall, Matt Redman, and others for a concert experience featuring worship songs both old and new. For now, the iTunes music store is offering two exclusive bundles—Passion: The Early Session 01 and Passion: The Early Session 02—featuring early mixes of songs from Everything Glorious and teaching tracks by speaker and Passion founder Louie Giglio.

Gospel heavyweight Donnie McClurkin was awarded the Best Gospel Album trophy at Saturday's 20th Annual Soul Train Awards for his album Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Songs. A week earlier, Yolanda Adams had received the Outstanding Gospel Artist honor at the 37th Annual NAACP Image Awards for her latest release, Day by Day.

Starfield, the award-winning modern worship/rock band from Canada, will release its second album, Beauty in the Broken, through Sparrow Records to stores everywhere on May 16. Produced by Ed Cash (Chris Tomlin, Steven Curtis Chapman) and Matt Bronleewe (Jars of Clay, Michael W. Smith), the set features a new rock arrangement of the classic hymn "How Great Thou Art," plus first radio single "My Generation."
