DYNAMO is a unique Web-based software reporting tool that analyzes clinical process and outcome metrics of care for clinicians and administrators. DYNAMO has the capability to compare various levels of patient information across the continuum of care, from a macro view (at the hospital comparative level) down to a focused patient level view (at the patient medical record level, by physician) to identify areas of opportunity.
With over 200 data elements captured per patient encounter, healthcare providers can customize analysis anytime, anywhere, through a secure Internet connection. DYNAMO provides Web-based access to internal data as well as the ability to benchmark against publicly available state data sets and the GE Medical Systems Information Technologies proprietary national database. Graphs and reports are easy to produce and simple to interpret. The data can be viewed in numerous formats to help achieve results.
DYNAMO helps healthcare providers evaluate clinical performance through physician profiling, hospital benchmarking, clinical pathways development, and practice variance analysis. DYNAMO empowers clinicians and managers with the information needed to efficiently manage the complexity of clinical care quality.

Through the severity-adjusted analysis of LOS, cost, changes, resource utilization/consumption, coding review, and various external benchmarking processes, DYNAMO provides a comprehensive approach for identifiers.

DYNAMO can track patient migration by patient origin, zip code, county, clinical service line, DRG, payer mix, or age/sex categories to determine areas of opportunity.

DYNAMO was designed to optimize the analysis and reporting of clinical performance indicators of the type that are rapidly becoming standard metrics in clinical process improvement. Examples include door-to-drug time for antibiotics in pneumonia patients, C-section rates for deliveries, and severity-adjusted surgical complication rates. With more than 80 standardized quality performance indicators (and the ability to create customized indicators) available to benchmark and monitor the quality of patient care, healthcare providers can use DYNAMO to help lower costs and improve quality while meeting or surpassing JCAHO requirements. DYNAMO can also be used to submit ORYX data to the JCAHO.
