Once a trade has been executed, records will be sent to National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC®) for clearance and settlement. All trading activity is transmitted to NSCC via computer as "locked in" transactions; meaning a computer has already matched the details of the trades from buyer and seller. Trades executed will be routed to NSCC for settlement via the Regional Interface Organization (RIO).

It is necessary for clearing firms to become NYSE Arca Equity Trading Permit (ETP) holders to clear trades on behalf of exchange participants. For example, broker/dealers who want direct access to NYSE Arca are required to register as Equity Trading Permit (ETP) holders. If not self-clearing, the broker/dealer must provide the name of the entity providing clearing services to the applicant. The clearing firm must also be an ETP holder. Additional agreements are required if the clearing firm would also like to be able to direct orders to NYSE Arca.

NYSE Arca Executions Website
Subscribers can view nine days of historical data and the current days execution data through a secured web site. Detailed reports for all trades executed on NYSE Arca can be accessed 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Information available on a single execution record includes trade date, order ID, symbol, buy/sell, price, CUSIP and execution ID.

Viewing options: Authorized users can view clearing data by user, company or domain. In addition to the detailed execution report, a summary report is also available.

File Formats: For your convenience, the files are produced in a .CSV format, which can be easily downloaded and imported into an ExcelŽ file.

Trade Date Data Availability: Execution information will be updated to the execution website throughout the day. Execution information is not available in real time. Under normal operations, the data should be available within 5 minutes of execution. Customers can access the site any time during trading to see the data. The final file for the current day will be generated at the end of our extended trading hours and will be available at approximately 11:00 pm.

Registration: To access the NYSE Arca Executions Website contact your sales representative to obtain a login for the site.
