NYSE Arca offers a variety of market data products and analytical tools that provide an inside view into the activity on the electronic exchange for listed and OTC stocks, as well as activity on ArcaEdgesm for OTCBB stocks. Our market tools also provide insight into marketwide trading activity.
ArcaBook
ArcaBooksm provides limit order book information for NYSE Arca and ArcaEdge (OTCBB) as well as information from the NYSE Arca auction process. ArcaBook can be obtained through a direct data feed from NYSE Arca, online via Arca Web Book, or via data vendors. In addition, NYSE Arca provides end of day ArcaBook information through the Delayed (Historical) Market Data Information subscription.
ArcaTrade
NYSE will be introducing a new real-time trade data feed upon rollout of its Bond Trading Platform. This ArcaTrade data feed and API will be expanded to include other asset classes in 2006 including options and equities. Each asset class will have a slightly different API to accommodate differences in areas such as symbology. NYSE Arca has recently posted the ArcaTrade specification for the bond platform to the website. The specification will be modified to accommodate the options and equity data in 2006.
Delayed (Historical) Market Information
NYSE Arca’s Delayed (Historical) Market Information provides a selection of ASCII flat files containing complete end-of-day history of raw quote and last-sale information and analytics of the raw data. Files are available either on DVD or through download using a secure FTP connection.
ArcaVision
ArcaVisionsm is your online resource for real-time and historic market-related information. It serves as the content source for a number of data and analytic tools available to investors, vendors, traders and issuers. Access to these tools is currently available through the ArcaVision web site, e-mail and FIX. Current tools available through ArcaVision include:
- ArcaVision web site — The ArcaVision web site is a password-protected, web-based monitoring tool that provides in-depth views of general market trends, trading activity and analysis across markets and industry sectors. Unique reports and analytics are available to traders, issuers and the investing public.
ArcaAuctions
ArcaAuctions allows you view data for stocks that are part of the opening, market order, closing and halt auctions that take place daily on NYSE Arca. In addition, you’ll be able to view associated indicative match prices and quantities.
ArcaAlerts
Available through e-mail and FIX, ArcaAlerts enable traders to receive notifications of market trends or unusual trading activity on a real-time basis. These alerts contain information about:
- stocks with significant, electronically-accessible liquidity on NYSE Arca
- auction pricing and imbalances
- pre-open trading activity and price movements
Arca Daily Price
The Arca Daily Price File provides valuable information on NYSE Arca’s current trading day pricing at the open and close, as well as the daily high and low prices.
