Donnington 1841 CENSUS, Herefordshire

Crown Copyright material in the Public Record Office is reproduced by permission of the Controller of Her Majesty's Stationery Office.
Permission granted to Rosemary Lockie to reproduce without fee on the Internet transcripts of Crown copyright material from the 1851 census returns for selected parishes in Derbyshire and Gloucestershire.
Reference 2 CPY 4(22) dated 9 July 1997
P.R.O. Reference # HO107/424

"The whole of Donnington Parish including Vicarage, Brand Oak, Donnington Hall, Dinchall & Court Farm"

NOTE: Y/N following a name indicates whether an individual was recorded as being born in Herefordshire or not.
I find it curious that more than half were not!

These transcriptions are taken from photocopies (which I still have) taken from P.R.O. microfilm at Hereford Central Library. Whilst I have taken every care to transcribe accurately, mistakes are possible, especially as I am not a native of Herefordshire, and I am not too familiar with local place names. So if you spot any errors, or if you believe I've interpreted anything wrongly please contact me, and I'll be happy to make corrections. Thank you.

(Please note however this is NOT an open invitation to send me individual research queries!)
