The Board is committed to maintaining high standards of Corporate Governance. Together with the Directors' Report and the Remuneration Report set out in the 2005 Annual Report & Accounts, this section describes how the Company applies the relevant principles of the July 2003 FRC Combined Code.

The Board believes that the Company complies with most of the Code. Any exceptions are fully explained.
