Dose Reduction
The Stenoscop Plus has been designed with dose reduction in mind:
Tube design reduces off-focal radiation
Two levels of Fluoro operate at 5 R/mn and 10 R/mn
Pulsed Fluoro mode will reduce dose further
Manual mode for fluoro allows user to adjust kV and mA parameters independently to minimum level for special cases (pregnancy, pediatrics...)
Collimation will reduce unnecessary radiation
Dose measurement option will help keep track of skin dose received
