O.J., Nicole & Ron: Countdown to Murder

A football icon, his estranged wife and a handsome young bystander were the players in this Hollywood tragedy, one of the most infamous homicides of the 20th century. NFL great O.J. Simpson, once a successful pitchman and household name, was soon better known as the prime suspect in the the "Trial of the Century." Though lawyers, the media and the general public have debated everything from the viability of DNA evidence to a pair of ill-fitting gloves, the real question--what really happened the night Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were brutally murdered?--continues its haunting pull on the public imagination.

What You Don't Know:
• The first time Nicole Brown saw Ron Goldman at a Starbucks in Brentwood, she told her friend Faye Resnick that she thought he was cute and that she had a crush on him.
• Goldman was supposed to meet some friends at a nightclub the night of the murders.
• Just five days before the murders, Nicole called a battered woman's shelter because she feared for her life.
• Goldman didn't own a car but rode his bike around Brentwood. The night of the murders, he borrowed his friend's red Toyota to drive to Nicole's house to drop off a pair of glasses.
• Just days before the murders, Nicole told her mother that O.J. had been following her and that she was afraid he was going to kill her.
• Allan Park was not supposed to be O.J.'s limo driver on the night of the murders. O.J.'s usual driver was on vacation so he hired Parks to drive him to the airport that night.
