Windsor Classic Indoor Games
The Windsor Classic Indoor Games are organized by the City of
Windsor, Canada annually in March for blind, wheelchair, amputee and
cerebral palsy athletes. The sports are organized indoors to give
athletes the opportunity to retain their fitness by having a competition
in the winter. The United States and Canada have participated on each occasion
with participation from teams from Mexico, Australia, Colombia and
England. The games average over 750 athletes, 500 volunteers and 200 coaches. Currently athletics, boccia, sled hockey, swimming, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair tennis are included in the games. |
