Robin Hood Games
CP-ISRA,
the Cerebral Palsy International Sports and Recreation, Association
has held games in Nottingham, England, dubbed the Robin Hood Games, for
athletes with cerebral palsy.
The goal is to provide for opportunity for sports people with cerebral palsy to participate in a variety of different sports and to ensure that all have the chance to compete at their own level. Athletics, lawn bowling, cycling, powerlifting swimming and table tennis are included in the games and the events are considered to be the World Championships for athletes with cerebral palsy. |
