Live performance by Thomas Truax, with Paul Wallfish (Listen to this set) |
|||||
Inventor of mechanical sound sculptures like his Sister Spinster and Cadillac Beatspinner Wheel, mad-scientist musician Thomas Truax has just released his second effort called "Audio Addiction." Thomas also picked up a regular guitar to embellish his carefully crafted songs, ranging from dark, romantic lullabies to lively rock melodramas. He was joined by Paul Wallfish, music producer and keyboardist for the band Botanica.Truax didn't bring the whole shebang to the WFMU studios, but did bring Sister Spinster to make "her" contribution to the live performances. |
