LifeCender™ Personal Escape System is engineered to provide a safe, controlled descent from as high as 7 stories. LifeCender™ does not require the use of your hands during the descent. This allows you to use your hands and feet to move around objects or push away from the building as you descend. The complete package is smaller than most briefcases, weighs less than 6 lbs. and is extremely portable. The system is very easy to use, even children can use it with adult supervision. LifeCender™ is the safest and easiest to use personal escape system available.

There are 2 models available based on the length of your descent. The PLC-30 provides a descent length of up to 3 stories. The PLC-80 provides a descent length of up to 7 stories. The PLC-80 includes a speed control knob that can be used to adjust your descent speed if you desire, but all descent speeds will provide a safe landing.

It is important to select the proper size of LifeCender™ to insure a safe descent speed. There are 3 weight sizes available for each model: SMALL 30-100 lbs., MEDIUM 100-200 lbs. and LARGE 200-300 lbs.

The system is intended for a one-time-use emergency escape. If your system is used during an emergency, simply return your system with the police or fire report and American Escape Systems will replace it at no charge.

Each systems includes: a storage/carrying case, illustrated and DVD instructions, safety vest/harness with quick release system, the PLC descending device with a shock absorber, 15' tie-off rope with rope adjuster and snap hook, combination flashlight/area light with batteries, warranty information, product registration and recertification cards.
