The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod provides resources for congregations, church workers and administration of the Synod through its 35 district offices, board of directors, and commissions.  The Synod holds a convention every three years to elect a president, vice presidents, members of its boards and commissions and to consider and take action on reports and resolutions. You may learn more about how the Synod is structured through a downloadable PowerPoint presentation.  The Commission on Constitutional Matters interprets the Synod’s constitution, bylaws, and resolutions The Synod's Commission on Theology and Church Relations provides study documents and statements on a number of significant theological issues and has been the Synod's primary agency for carrying out its ecumenical responsibilities toward other Lutheran church bodies. The Commission on Worship prepares and/or recommends worship materials to the Synod.
