Dylan, Bob

(Robert Zimmerman; 1941- ), musician. Dylan, influential in the 1960s as a singer and composer, took his name from poet Dylan Thomas. He is especially noted for his folk and social protest songs, such as "The Times They Are A-Changin'" and "Blowin' in the Wind."
