Farmer-Labor Party

political party organized around 1918 by former members of the Progressive party with the support of some midwestern farmer and labor groups. Its platform called for government ownership of public utilities, help for farmers, and improved labor conditions. Following the party's dissolution in 1924, its members supported Robert M.
