Someone tell me...
... why Tiger Woods is on the front page of ESPN despite being currently tied for 36th--and six shots off the lead--after the first round of the Masters? And while we're on that subject...
... after such as fuss in 2003, has the mainstream sports media forgotten that Augusta National still doesn't allow women golfers as members?
... why the San Francisco 49ers are currently eagerly pursuing Aaron Rodgers and Alex Smith, when a QB is the least of that team's worries?
... what kind of a name is Ron Mexico?
... how "Fever Pitch" ever came to be? And while we're on that subject...
... how come people keep giving movie roles to Jimmy Fallon?
... how long will the Nationals will stay in first place in the NL East?

Sports games lit up the sales charts in February, lead by the infamous debut of Gran Turismo 4, a game that was destined for the number one spot practically as soon as it was announced. Counting driving games, a full eight spots of the twenty top-selling games in February were sports titles--including new entries such as NBA Street V3 and MVP Baseball 2005. Perennial sales powerhouse Madden NFL 2005 dropped only two spots in February and still managed to hold on to a top-10 sales finish, six months after its release date. Also of note was the continued strength of another EA Sports title: NBA Live 2005, a game that's still moving units well into 2005.
