ABC 15 Bio: Ernie Zuniga
Ernie Zuniga is the Weekend Sports Anchor and Weekday Sports Reporter at ABC 15.
Ernie joined ABC 15 in the fall of 2003, following 4 and a half years as a sports reporter and fill-in sports anchor at the FOX affiliate in San Antonio, Texas. Before that, Ernie spent 2 and a half years as a sports reporter and weekend sports anchor at the ABC & FOX affiliates in his hometown of Victoria, Texas. Although he loves sports, Ernie’s true “dream job” would be to host a game show.
Ernie attended Texas A&M; University and graduated from the University of Houston/Victoria with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications.
Ernie and his wife Tami currently live in the West Valley.
