Curse Janet Jackson. Every since the Superbowl stunt Phil's show has really been toned down. I know profanity doesn't make the show but there was something hilarious about David G Hall (Phil's voice of course) calling Phil an a55hole or Harvey Wireman telling Phil he hates fake goddamn Christmas trees. Then there was Mavis Leonard in a conversation with a woman who said if she ever found Mavis she would choke her. Mavis just said, "I'd kick you right in the snatch" God I loved Phil when he was able to push the limits. Hopefully the FCC will back off someday but I don't think that will happen anytime soon. Proof that this has toned Phil down can be heard in any Ted Bell bit. When the jingle plays a lady sings, "Where you want to put our meat in your mouth" Now it's beeped. How sad.

I agree, the FCC is becoming a pathetic joke. Just the other day someone asked Phil to replay some "Classic Phil", the one the e-mailer asked for was the pilot who people paid to take them somewhere he would pull into a nose dive and scare the crap out of people and make them think he is their hero for "saving" their life and would get an extra fee as a reward. Phil said that his boss was afraid to play clips like that because the FCC would get upset. He kind of played it off as a joke but you could tell he was being serious. The David G. Hall segments were pure gold when he was raw and unpredictable.
