01 What's your gaming nickname and is there any particular reason why you chose it? guzz - not really a gaming nickname, its what my friends call me anyway! It comes from my old school nickname which was "gui" - which comes from my surname, as I'm British, but from French descendancy. Somebody was joking around with everybodys "names" and adding z's to them - and it's stuck from there.02 Do you use a custom character config and, if so, how is it setup? Strength : 303 What weapons do you include in your arsenal? 01 : Knife?04 Do you prefer bloodbath, standard teamplay or CTF? Bloodbath05 What maps are you best on? Crypt, Rooftops...hard to say really (as I cant remember the names)06 Which weapon do you think induces the most lag? Hard to say, I havent played online much, I prefer a LAN game as this is what I'm used to after many Quake2 LAN sessions. I find lag totally irritating. I'd guess at either the Life Leech or Vulcan Cannon.07 What is the funniest kill you've performed or received? Killing an invisible friend with a random shotgun blast out into a level when I hadnt even seen his ghostly image! (he hadnt even fired to give his position away)08 What's your standard way of carrying out a humiliation death? Crouch down infront of them with my knife and slit their throat.09 What games do you play online apart from Blood 2? I havent played online much, but Quake2 and Diablo are two that come to mind.10 What is your all-time favourite weapon from any game? The Orb from B2.11 What is your all-time favourite map from any game? Has to be "Phantom Express" from Blood112 What do you think the future holds for Blood 2? Hopefully a lot more MODS and single player maps. I can't wait to get ANY mods or addon packs that become available.13 What tips do you have to share with your fellow bloodbathers? Keep moving... use strafe left/right ALL the time and around every corner.14 How can people contact you so they may try and damage your bloodbathing prowess? I dont really play online much, but if theres a LAN bash......15 What do you think about PlanetBlood and is there anything else you would like to see on it? (this is also the place where you can plug your sites) Another site dedicated to Blood2, so it can only be good! - usually up to date with the latest patches and MOD's.16 What was your inspiration for creating the Limbloss mod? I was just looking through the source and saw that the code was in place but not enabled. Limbloss was only ever going to happen "upon death" with the original code so I enabled and improved on it with my "Limbloss while alive" routines. The code is really well written, BTW, else I wouldnt have been able to do this stuff so easily.17 When did all the trouble about 'copying' ideas start? I still can't understand how implementing my game play preferences can be called copying when it's stuff that is apparent after playing the game for 30 minutes, and stuff people have been crying out for (such as akimbo alt-fire). Every review of Blood2 on the Net criticises the AI, I've tried to improve it - I just dont see where the concept that this is some amazingly original idea comes from. I'm sure that after trying my MOD, people will realise that this has been a lot of fuss over very little. Forum-rage is definately the scourge of the Internet.18 Are you at all bothered by this or is it business as usual? I've put this argument behind me (even though my last forum post was probably over the top) and will continue to do what *I* want to do with the source code and release it on my site.
