Read Testimonials from Refugees

Refugees in Bangladesh, 1992 Refugee Voices, a program of Immigration and Refugee Services of America, was established in 1987 with the idea that the best advocates for refugees are refugees themselves. By allowing others to hear the first-hand testimonies of refugees, not only are others better informed about the conditions refugees endure, but refugees become empowered to contribute their own voice to those of others working to end conflict and help all refugees rebuild peaceful, stable lives.
