He recorded two beat pop singles for the Kommotion label in 1966, `I've Been Unfaithful'/`Mickey's Monkey' and `I Feel Good'/ `When It's Over'. In 1970 he represented Australia at Expo '70 in Osaka, Japan. His song `No Roses For Michael' was the theme for a television drama about a drug addict. Festival issued the song as a single (with `Ned Kelly' on the flip side) and it reached #21 in October 1970. Greg recorded four more singles for Festival: `Just Come Running to Me'/`Live for Life' (1971), `It's Over'/`Shame' (1971), `Someone Somewhere'/`It's Over' (1972) and `Thank Your Lucky Stars'/`It's Over' (1972), plus one album.
