Reconsider new health plan
Every Kenyan deserves, as a right, access to basic health care. The debate is on the mechanism of how we go about it. The National Social Health Insurance Scheme goes part of the way, but is discomforting as it creates a monopoly and takes away choice. - Ashok Shah

Women are a majority yet they are a minority
According to an ancient Chinese saying, women hold up half the sky. Presumably, men hold up the other half. But this saying cannot be very accurate, particularly with reference to a country like Kenya. Given the large, ever-growing share of the responsibilities they carry for the welfare of their families, women surely hold up more than half of our sky, yet we do not often see them out there in any particular sphere of life. - Dominic Odipo
