GOLDEN is a different kind of d20 game. It has some cool features and a few typoes. It is a modern era game that doesn't use the crummy Modern d20 system. It is also under the Prometheus banner but other than a decoration at the top of each page, don't know what that meant or added.

The best features are the HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of Feats. My GM originally bought the hardcopy book off of the website just for the Feats, and I bought a PDF version from RPGNOW to get access to them aswell.

The game world is very cool. It is a blend of comicbooks and "pulp" ie 1930s adventures. It has a timeline and maps of old new york although the maps need to be a ton bigger to be really useful. There is also a mad section on monsters at the back of the book with "accurat animals". This is a section on stats for real-life critters as they truly are, ie very Fn hard to kill.

I also really like the Golden website, which is truly packed to breaking point with more free rules and files. There is even a strange list of campaigns running Golden.
Pisces All Media looked like a one man band for a while but lately it looks more like an authentic "alternative" small press. I hope they stick around a long time.
