If you’re new to Mushing (Multi User Shared Hallucinations) then the OGR provides an easy introduce to the style of roleplaying. If hacking your way around Multi User Dungeons (MUD) is your thing then MudRanger is a site that will interest you. It has one of the largest listing of MUDs and related websites available. It’s a fast and good looking site too.
GameWyrd hosts it's own collection of MUSH, MUD, MUX, MU* addresses and votes. It's worth looking at since we keep both the total score and a weighted average. It keeps things fair. You'll find the list here.
The other large site, perhaps the largest, that lists and tallys total votes for MUDs is the extremely popular Top Mud Sites. You can throw GameWyrd a vote by entering them from this link.

 | The Amethyst Alliance is certainly worth checking out. They have an impressive membership range; enough to hold true to the international roleplaying guild title. The Alliance maintains the carefully structured forum RPG Tazlure: The Legacy of the Seven Isles. Tazlue holds the promise of the Prometheus Engine, a custom software package that allows for an automated character sheet, detailed background and quick links to the forum posts.
They're also the people who have a heavy stake in the RPG Consortium.
