WHAT DOES A HOUSEWIFE DO?
house
A housewife is a woman, though there are some househusbands, who works at home caring for her children, maintaining her home and cooking for the family. A housewife works very hard every day and gets few vacations, holidays or weekends off as men and women who work outside the home get.  And a housewife works many more hours each day than those who work outside the home.
There are so many duties performed by housewives that it's hard to list them all.  Some of them are taking care of children, doing laundry, cleaning floors, walls, windows and kitchens and bathrooms, making beds, bed ironing clothes, making breakfast and lunch, cookwarecooking dinner and washing and drying dishes.
Perhaps the most important of all of these important tasks is the care of children.  The mother who works in the home devotes a large part of her day caring for the health and safety of her children.  She keeps the children clean and fed and tells them when they are bad and when they are good.  This
teaches children a most important lesson: the difference between right and wrong which they will use for the rest of their lives.
Housewives do the most important work of any men or women though they rarely receive the recognition they deserve because others do what may seem more interesting.

DAVEY STAYS HOME
Rather than go to the mall with his friends and their mothers, Davey stayed home and helped his mother with the spring cleaning.  His first assignment was to wash the breakfast dishes while his mother put the laundry in the washing machine.  When he had finished that, he cleaned and dusted the food cupboard.
His mother cleaned the ovenoven while Davey was working in the cupboard.  When both were finished Davey and his mom washed the kitchen window; Davey wet while his mom dried with newspaper.  When the window was done they washed the kitchen floor.  They then went into the living room while the floor dried.  In the living room, Davey dusted the furniture while his mother dusted the pictures and shelves that were too high for him to reach.  After the dusting, his mom took the drapes down while he took the hooks by which they were hung curtains out of them and placed them in an envelope; that way they will be together when the drapes are hung again in the fall.  Then they washed the living room windows.
After that, Davey's mother let him sit down on the steps in front of the house and have a drink while she vacuumed vacuum cleaner the living room carpet.  When he was rested, Davey helped her move the furniture so that she could vacuum behind and under it.sofaThey returned the furniture to its place and went to the master bedroom.  He helped his mother turn the mattress that she and his father slept on.  Then they dusted and washed the window and moved the furniture as they had done in the living room.  Davey needed another rest after that.
While Davey rested downstairs, his mom cleaned the bathroom.  She then went to his room where she washed the window while he tidied his toys and clothes.
His mom then made him a late lunch.  While eating, Davey looked forward to finishing the cleaning.
