Globalization Teach-ins
The Coalition for a Humane Economy (CHE), formed to educate Cincinnatians about the upcoming Transatlantic Business Dialogue (TABD) conference, offers a series of teach-ins on globalization issues. All are free and open to the public.

· Saturday, noon: Information for individuals and groups interested in documentaries, Webcam footage, Web radio broadcasts and independent-media journalism about the TABD and protests against it. · Nov. 8, 7 p.m.: The impact of environmental degradation and housing issues on low-income people will be the subject of a town hall meeting in Room 114 of the UC College of Law.

· Nov. 15, 7 to 9 p.m.: Robert Cohen, activist against bovine growth hormones, speaks in Room 114 of the UC College of Law about genetic engineering and its implications on our health and the environment. Cohen also will touch on the European Union's opposition to genetically modified organisms and the EU's dispute with the World Trade Organization over these issues.

Love and Women's Health
Women's Health Issues for the New Millennium, a conference featuring Dr. Susan Love, is at the Westin Hotel Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday. Tickets are $50 each or $1,000 for a whole table. For reservations, call 513-791-4060.

Feng Shui at Grailville
Learn how to arrange your living and working spaces at a Feng Shui workshop from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 11.
