After their reunion at Woodstock '99, the Mothership looks poised to cropdust the colonies desperately in need of the Funk. Yup, the original lineup is back -- George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worell and company have reunited as Parliament/Funkadelic. This highly anticipated return will debut a new album and appear on The Late Show with David Letterman in October. Guests on the record include Henry Rollins, Del the Funky Homosapien and Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. ... While his latest album still sizzles in the charts, Social Distortion's Mike Ness will have a second solo album out on Time Bomb Recordings. The set will be a collection of covers of classic Country by Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr. and others.
