Downtown workers now have an excuse to be lazy on the job. Montgomery's popular LAZY GOURMET restaurant has opened a second location inside the Chiquita Center. The new location seats about 15 but also offers carryout sandwiches, burritos, pizzas, soups and hot entrées. A full salad and potato bar and fresh bakery selections are also featured. Lazy Gourmet, 250 E. Fifth St. (at the top of the escalator), downtown. Hours are 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday. 513-241-5975.

Soup's on at PALOMINO EURO BISTRO's fall soups cooking class, Sunday at 11 a.m. Executive Chef Bo Buckner will teach participants to prepare three unique soups, including portobella mushroom, spicy African chicken and roasted eggplant. Didn't get enough to drink at Oktoberfest Zinzinnati? Head to Over-the-Rhine for the Barrelhouse Brewery's MICROBRWERY EXTRAVAGANZA 3-10 p.m. Saturday, when 12th Street (between Main and Jackson) shuts down for the evening.
