Hot Ticket: Take a trip to Paramount's Kings Island, where new rides include the theme park's first interactive family attraction, "Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Castle," in which riders travel through the castle equipped with Fright Light ghost blasters to zap ghosts and collect points. Also new is Delirium, a spin-and-swing ride that rockets riders 137 feet in the air and also sways them in a 240-degree arc. Hot Spot: The people who brought you the Big Pig Gig and Flower Power have whipped up another whimsical public art project based on another great Cincinnati tradition -- baseball. "Bats Incredible" finds Cincinnati going batty, as hundreds of sculptures made from regulation-size Louisville Slugger bats take to the streets. Hot Spot: Take a walk on the mild side. California Woods Nature Preserve along Kellogg Avenue in California is an often ignored city park that's one of its most peaceful. The totally pristine hiking trails accommodate different levels of ablility, including the one-mile California Junction Trail, Trillium Valley Trail and Prairie Meadow Trail. A great place to spot flowers, birds and butterflies.
