Developing a Teaching Portfolio*

What is a teaching portfolio?

A Teaching Portfolio, aka Teaching Dossier or Course Portfolio, is used to demonstrate an instructor's major strengths and teaching achievements.
The goal of a Teaching Portfolio is to present your teaching skills, experiences, and credentials in a meaningful, positive package.
Teaching Portfolios are used to assist you in demonstrating your teaching abilities to colleagues, department chairs, potential employers, and can be used as a way to assess and develop new courses, and ultimately improve your teaching through reflection.
