Scouting Report Pitching & Defense Rapp uses an assortment of pitches but lacks any one very good pitch. His fastball is below average, as is his change, but his curve and cut fastball are not bad. If he can put those two pitches where he wants to, he can win. He walks too many batters and pitches deep into too many counts, which prevents him from developing beyond a six-inning pitcher. He neither hurts nor helps himself defensively, and his pickoff move is above average for a righthander. |
