When Jenny DeMuth's layup in the final seconds fell short, so did Indiana's shot of a second straight upset of Purdue.

Tennessee Trounces Southern Calif. 71-39
Kara Lawson and Shyra Ely each scored 16 points as No. 4 Tennessee beat Southern California 71-39 on Saturday at the Forum.

Christi Thomas scored 17 points as No. 20 Georgia pulled away from a halftime tie to beat Tennessee Tech 87-56 Saturday.

Ten minutes was all Kansas State needed. After Weber State controlled the game defensively in the first 10 minutes Saturday, Kansas State responded.
