How I learned to snap a good photo
You've got a camera, a forest full of bare branches and a whole lot of snow and sun. What do you do? As anyone who's tried winter photography knows, it's no snap. The eye sees white snow sparkling on an undulating landscape. But in the photograph, the hills are flat, shadows have appeared out of nowhere and the snow is as gray as old underwear.
