Robert Dougherty ran for two short touchdowns in the second half to give Bishop McDevitt a 22-point lead, and the visiting Lancers held on for a 35-28 win over St. John Neumann yesterday in Catholic League Blue Division football.

Maple Shade's games now seen in a new light
After two years of waiting, the Maple Shade field hockey team has finally been able to stand up and say, "Let there be light!" The Wildcats brought field hockey into prime-time with six night games on their schedule this season.

As Smith goes, so go the Colonials
It's not difficult to see how much Erick Smith means to the Plymouth Whitemarsh football team. In the five games that Smith started and played the full 48 minutes, the Colonials emerged victorious. When the senior fullback and outside linebacker was not on the field in the late going of one closely played contest and missed another, the squad suffered defeats.
