SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - The Phoenix Coyotes signed defenseman Deron Quint to a one-year deal Saturday.

It will be Quint's second stint with the organization.

From 1995 to 2000, Quint played five seasons with the Coyotes and Winnipeg Jets, and then played last season for the Columbus Blue Jackets.

He has 35 goals, 80 assists and 128 penalty minutes in 356 career NHL games.

Quint was scheduled to be in the lineup Saturday night for the Coyotes' game against the Minnesota Wild.
