Getting away from crowds in Yellowstone
Sometimes the best way to see Yellowstone is far from the beaten path. The park gets 3 million visitors a year, most from June through September. It can get crowded, very crowded.

Hickory Creek is accessible and scenic wilderness. The 8,663-acre tract -- one of only two federal wilderness areas in Pennsylvania -- is a cool place, especially under the shade of the hardwoods on a hot summer's day.
