   About Marc Schogol

Marc Schogol has worked at The Inquirer for 28 years, as a reporter, rewrite reporter, editor and columnist. He previously worked at Newsday on Long Island and for the now defunct Daily Journal in Elizabeth, N.J. In the finest newspaper tradition, he began as a copy boy for the Associated Press. Schogol was born in New York, and graduated from New York public schools and Queens College of the City University of New York with a bachelor's degree in history. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have three children.
