       Quick Fix | An open and shut case for tool
    A regular feature on products, services and ìdeas for the home. I'm writing this week's column from an exotic location - my house - because I find it is easier trying out tools here than in the middle of the newsroom.

    When Ron Rumford went looking for more space a decade ago, he ran into the classic artist's predicament. With real estate booming, Center City wasn't in the cards, and though tempted by abandoned warehouses in other parts of the city, making them habitable seemed an overwhelming task for a lone and cash-poor artist.
