Popular Mechanics satisfies the passion to know how and why things
work. It's about how today's technologies affect the things men are most
interested in-their homes, consumer electronics, cars, science, computers,
sports and current events. Founded in 1902, Popular Mechanics is the original
men's service magazine and the first publication to present technology
in a "popular," easy-to-understand format.
The editors of Popular Mechanics drive, fly, dive, sail and product-test
all year round in order to bring readers the first-hand, on-the-spot reporting
on new technologies that readers have expected for close to a century.
The magazine also regularly explores the advances in science, electronics,
photography and telecommunications that make these new products possible.
Popular Mechanics-explaining the way the world works today and
