Steeled for Ironman
Tyl Sadoff and Jess Gilhorn never minded the conditioning: the laps, the line drills, the wind sprints, the timed runs. Both were tireless and tenacious competitors in high school and college - Sadoff in basketball and soccer at Merion Mercy and basketball at the University of Hartford, Gilhorn in field hockey and lacrosse at Central Bucks West and Penn. Energy and endurance, combined with skill and savvy, propelled them to elite status in their sports.
