FILDERSTADT, Germany (AP) - Kim Clijsters overcame a loss in the first set and beat Slovakia's Daniela Hantuchova 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 to win the Porsche Grand Prix on Sunday.
Clijsters, who rallied to beat Lindsay Davenport and Amelie Mauresmo in earlier matches, beat Hantuchova for her second title of the year in the first all-teenage final in the 26-year history of the event.
"I was a lot more nervous than it looked at the end - Hantuchova is a terrific player," said Clijsters.
Clijsters will move from No. 9 to No. 5 in next week's rankings, while Hantuchova will move from No. 11 to career-best No. 9 after playing in just her second final.
Clijsters claimed the most important break of the match to take a 5-4 lead in the final set and used her powerful serve to close out the match.
