   Hitchcock: Comeback effort is a feat to build on
Third-period comebacks in hockey are rare. Comebacks from two-goal deficits are virtually unheard of. That's what coach Ken Hitchcock emphasized in the dressing room between the second and third periods of the Flyers' 5-4 victory over Calgary on Saturday night at the Pengrowth Saddledome. The Flyers were trailing the Flames, 4-2, after two periods.

Trent Klatt scored his second goal of the game with 4:37 left as the Vancouver Canucks won their home opener, beating San Jose 5-3 on Saturday night.
