Pineapple's cousin produces pretty fruit
Name: Miniature pineapple Botanical name: Ananas nanus Description: A small bromeliad that's a kissing cousin of the edible pineapple. This little one is rather nondescript as a plant. Its apple green leaves have a gray tint on the undersides. They are 10 or 12 inches long, come to a point and are armed with spines. Handling them is not an easy task.
