Richard and Linda Hickok, of Columbia, S.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Brenda Jeanne Hickok, of Atlanta, to Aaron Paul Billotte, of State College, a son of Ronald and Anita Billotte, of State College.

The future bride, a graduate of Penn State with a bachelor of science degree in microbiology, is a forensic toxicologist for Quest Diagnostics in Atlanta.

The future bridegroom, a graduate of Penn State with a bachelor of science degree in biology, is a candidate for master of business administration and master of health administration degrees in the Smeal College of Business Administration at Penn State.

A wedding date is set for Oct. 18, 2003.
